Spiritual support simply means, offering others the opportunity to explore and become aware of their own spirituality and the importance it plays in their own life. Giving oneself the opportunity to explore their spirituality and address the underlying thoughts and beliefs manifested in ones behavior, makes the counseling process distinctly accepting and wholistic in nature.
The whole person, his/her thoughts and feelings are respected, considered and supported in providing spiritual support.
